STRAY PAWS MD is the first and only English-language blog bringing you the information about the stray cats and dogs from Moldova.
The blog has been created and was moderated by a group of Moldovan animal protection enthusiasts, some of whom are volunteering from abroad. Our current content editor is Natalia Donets.
Our apologies, for the moment a lot of information may be missing, however we will fill the pages in really soon. You will be able to know more about us, our dog shelters in need, the ways to help us, and maybe even eventually adopt one of Moldovan dogs.
Even if you are not able to make a donation or help us at the time, it is always nice to hear words of support from people who care about saving lives.

Dear Veli,
We’re based in Moldova, “Live” shelter is in Bacioi and “Isle of hope” shelter is in Colonita. Both cities are considered suburbs of Chisinau, so they are only a short car drive from the capital. We will be glad to pass on the phone numbers of the shelter workers, so that you’d be able to organize your visit.
