This is a story that I witnessed while working at one of the dog shelters in and around Moldova’s capital city, Chisinau.
A sweet little dog by the name of Foxy had puppies one day. Sadly, because of the harsh conditions of the dog shelter during a Moldovan summer, all of her puppies died in their first week of life.
Foxy was distraught, as any parent would be.
A few days later, three very small and motherless kittens were brought in to the dog shelter.
What happened next is an amazing and heartwarming story of nature winning against the odds….
