Can You Give A Dog A Home?

Live Dog Shelter is getting ready to move to a new location, right on the other side of Chisinau – hopefully within the next month. Unfortunately it will not be easy and with over 250 dogs to transport it will take several days to get everything to the new site. With that in mind I would like to share with you some pictures of just a handful of some the amazing dogs that we have at the shelter and see if there is anyone who can possibly adopt one of them and offer it a loving home. If you can’t offer a dog a home, then you can also take part in our virtual adoption scheme.

Ben

This is Ben. If you read us regularly you may already be familiar with him. He is a very friendly and charming male and he loves to be petted and play with a ball (virtually adopted)

Bim

This boy is Bim. He is has been at the Live shelter for around 5 months. He is a very quiet and patient dog and is well behaved. Bim was sad when his last owners had to leave him with us at the dog shelter and would love to find a new home.

Chunga

This little lad is Chunga. He is a small and nervous little boy, but really likes being petted and cuddled. His teeth are always showing because of how his jaw is, so it seems that he is grinning all the time.

DSC_0005 (2)

This girl is one of our longer term residents. Though I don’t know her name – I’m sure that she does have one – she is one of my favourite dogs at LIVE dog shelter. She is very social and really loves to be held and stroked – giving little moans of pleasure. She looks a lot like the Jack Russell breed of dog.

Lady 2

What other name but Lady for a dog that sits like this? Lady is very sweet natured, both to other dogs and to people and she likes human company.

Flower 8

This young girl is called Flower. She is about 7 months old and is another one of my favourite dogs at LIVE dog shelter. She likes to follow me everywhere until I give her attention and take her in my arms. She really is a beautiful and sweet girl.

Smiley

Probably you already know Smiley. She had an accident in the summer and had to have one of her forelegs amputated. But she is still as lovely a girl as ever and is one of the unforgettable characters at the dog shelter. Now days she likes to hang around on the roof of one of our buildings and watch over the dog shelter. She is very fond of cuddles.

Teffy

Teffy is another dog that you will probably know if you read about our dog shelter regularly. She is a beautiful girl, but unfortunately has problems with movements due to injuries sustained to her spine and spinal cord. Teffy really needs a home where she can receive special attention.

Tilly 2

This is another dog who has been at the shelter for a long time but whose name I do not know. I have called her Tilly ever since I knew her. Tilly is a very sweet girl, just over a year old and loves to sit in people’s laps and be stroked.

If you can offer a caring home to any of these dogs, or are interested in sponsoring a dog for ‘virtual adoption’ then please contact us by email to straydogsmd@gmail.com or phone Anna on 37368620787 or Natasha on 37379989969. Thanks!
